Weekend context
The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix was Round 6 of the season, held on the 3.337 km Circuit de Monaco across 78 scheduled laps. Formula 1's official event page lists the race distance as 260.286 km and the weekend dates as 5-7 June.
The official Formula 1 race result page was labelled provisional when checked on 8 June 2026. The classification still gives a clear archive picture: Kimi Antonelli converted pole into another Mercedes victory, Lewis Hamilton kept Ferrari in second, and Isack Hadjar took third for Red Bull Racing on a weekend when Max Verstappen did not complete a racing lap.
Qualifying
Antonelli's pole lap was the foundation of the weekend. His 1:12.051 in Q3 put him 0.043 seconds ahead of Verstappen, with Hamilton and Charles Leclerc forming an all-Ferrari second row. Monaco's limited passing opportunities made that small Saturday margin decisive.

Post-race impact
Monaco made Antonelli's championship lead more severe. He moved to 156 points after six rounds, while Hamilton climbed to second on 90 and Russell dropped to third on 88 after finishing outside the points. Leclerc remained fourth on 75 after a DNF, and Piastri moved to 60 with fourth place.
The constructors' table also tightened in the places behind Mercedes. Mercedes now leads on 244 points, Ferrari is second on 165 and McLaren third on 118. Red Bull Racing moved to 72 thanks to Hadjar's podium, but Verstappen's lap-zero DNF kept the team from turning Monaco into a full recovery weekend. Racing Bulls' double score moved the team to 39 points, just two behind Alpine.
